I’ve been blogging for almost 18 months now and thought it was time for me to take a step back and see how I was progressing about my plan… NO! Not to take over the world (Yet!) but to share my thoughts and approach to a holistic enablement strategy for Low-Code in any organisation considering Platform, Process, and People!
Then I realised that by just publishing an article at a time people may not realise that it is just one jigsaw piece of this greater goal. That triggered me to draw this picture of the key areas that I’m focusing on (the columns), some major modules that sit within those areas (the boxes), and the blog posts I’ve written (in black) or plan to write (in orange) that bring those to life. You can also see how these topics align to the Microsoft Power Platform Maturity Level categories.

Let me give you an overview of how I’m planning the structure Click the title links to explore the blog posts in each key area:
Purpose - Primarily vision and strategy modules - Why is it important, what are you going to do, how are you going to measure it? (Modules: Vision & Strategy, Value, KPIs, Change Approach)
Principles - What are the foundations on which we’ll build everything else to give us a scalable approach that fits personal productivity solutions right up to enterprise scale regulated solutions? (Modules: Scalable Risk T-Shirt Sizes, Scalable Standards, Current State Analysis)
Platform - How are we going to configure our core platform controls to keep us safe, secure, and scalable. (Modules: Environment Strategy, DLP, Security, Governance)
Process - Operationalise and support our platform (Modules: Operations, Support, ALM, Monitoring)
People - Enabling people to establish new behaviours, enable them to fulfil them, and then Echo and amplify them to the organisation through community. (Modules: Maker Movement, Leaders, People, Educate, Solve Problems, Celebrate, Community)
ProDev - Enabling IT developers with existing coding / development experience to leverage Low-Code platforms to develop faster or prototype solutions. (Modules: To Be Confirmed)
Power Up - Approaches to accelerate, automate, amplify to get maximum use and value out of our platform investment. (Modules: Gamification, Fusion Development, Enterprise Architecture, Licensing, Career Path, Automation, Component and Template Catalogue, Service evolution)
Point of View - A selection of white papers, case studies, conference sessions, podcasts and more to bring topics to life. (Module: Case Studies, White Papers, Event Sessions, Podcasts)
Copilot - will be merged into this structure but haven’t quite decided how I want to integrate those posts yet :) (Modules: To Be Confirmed)
